Should really be in bed.. but...
I decided to do this instead. A short entry.

School has been okay. Did well on my essay for Shakespeare, Prof marked it and I did better this year than I did with him last time I had him. Yay! We start Hamlet on Tuesday. Joy? Third time doing the play in a class. Whooo! It is a great play, but I wonder how much more I'll learn from it =P

Canadian Drama is okay.. History, need to go to the workshop tomorrow and such, then type of the position paper. Ugh. I dun wanna do that, but I have to... SIGH I also need to go photocopy the play for my Canadian Drama class before class.. Was not there when I went there today. So I really had not much of a choice, wasn't feeling well so I didn't want to hang around after class to see if it came in.

And I got a HORRIBLE chill on Tuesday night. Went to the school with Joel to hang out with him before his class, after having made him watch VHD: Bloodlust.. =P

Anyways, I get to the bus stop at around 6:13or so, the bus is supposed to come at 6:09, so i figured I'd missed that one, but there was a man at the stop, so either he missed it too, or that bus didn't show up. Next bus is at 6:19, so I wait, and wait, with all the other people waiting, and it does not come. the next bus is at 6:29, it comes a few minutes late. 6:19 bust never showed up.

So I was in the cold, for 20 minutes.. and got badly chilled..Got a minor cold, felt sick last night.. most of yesterday
Failed the test for full drivers license by 6 points stupid little things too.. Oh well Maybe I'll pass next try.

nd thats about it.. May plan a bit of a road trip with Joel for reading week, but that might not work out. Might need to wait until school is out and all =D

Well bath time then bed time..

Sounds like our busses are very similar =P

Though luckily for me it's not as cold here.

Too bad you failed your driver's license. Wouldn't you kind of need that to go on a road trip?

Lucky us, eh?

And I don't mind the cold, just when I am not prepared and have to wait for a bus.. I mind it.. =P

No. We have a graded system here. G1, meaning you need to have a person with a full license in the car when you drive, only allowed on the highway with an instructor. G2,like a full license, some restrictions the only one I remember is NO alcohol at all in your blood. And G the full one, which is the test I didn't pass..

Yeah, unexpected waiting makes everything more unpleasant -_-

Sjee, so you have to pass 3 driving tests instead of only once? Evil! I bet they do that to get more money from you.

Why's the highway so special? That's much easier to drive than through the center of a large city =P

I hate waiting

Yep. One written, two in the car. Then every few years you need to pay to renew your drivers license..

No clue. Faster speed = more risk I guess

Bring a book! I always try to have one with me.

They allow you to drive after only passing a written test? That's slightly scary. Yeah, the renewing we do here too.

In theory, yeah, but the highway's built for speed anyway. Meanwhile center of a large city = lots of pedestrians and cyclists out for insurance claims ^^

I could, but at night where the bus stop is, can't see too well. =(

Well you have to have someone in the car who can drive and is sober. They MUST be in the passenger seat. Though what can they do if you run three lights and a stop sign?

Oh geeze, cyclists. I hate driving by them. Since this man went over the bridge while riding his bike, they added a bike lane to a section of road that was not made to be able to have one. Its bloody ridiculous. Someone is going to get pegged by a car on their bike. ONE person in over 20 years went over the rail on the bridge and they put up the bike lane, endangering more since there is not space for it.
You should WALK your bike across a bridge anyways..

Ah, ehm.... bring a light too? One of those windup blue LED flashlights!

The scary part is that a written exam doesn't actually have to mean you know how to operate a car =P

I remember a street that had a bikelane less than 10 cm wide right along a canal. Trying to stay on that bikelane would've pretty much guaranteed you a dive =D

Oh, I guess the highway is different because it has a minimal speed. If you can't drive well yet, then on any other road you can just drive really slow. But on highway's that'd be dangerous. On any other road it would just be extremely annoying for all the other trafic.

And where do I keep the light? O.o no spot to sit down really either. The seats in the small shelter thing are always so dirty.

Yeah, but you have to know the rules of the road.

That was not smart, at all. Well, if you train for a triathlon...

But with the trouble with road rage, it'd be a problem again, no? You might get stuff thrown at you, yelled at...

In your pocket? Or wherever you keep the book.
Sjeesh, no street lights, no benches... your bus stops are terrible. Guess you'll just have to bring your own chair as well =P

But without knowing how to operate a car, you could blow up the engine or something!

I think it's safe to say 99% of all cyclists isn't ^^

Yeah, I guess... and people will usually try dangerous maneuvres to get past you if you drive too slow. But I guess at least all that isn't technically your fault.

I guess I could do that, but the no chair thing is a bit of a drag.. There is a concrete thing that some people sit on, but it is a race to get to it in a way.

Thats why the person who owns the car is there with you, they can stop you before you do THAT bad.

Well, then they can start to train! though it cannot be good for the bike...

It isn't. But it is still scary!!

Hmmm, learn to read standing?

Right, if they're quick enough ^^

I think getting your bike back out would require a crane. Or at least several helpers.

But they can't give you tickets for it!

I can read standing, it is the balancing the light that would be the issue while reading, I think. Never tried to read by one though

Which is sometimes unfair because people from other buses may get there first.

Yikes. Then I think they would be very unhappy.

And no, they cannot give you tickets if someone else does the dangerous stuff, thankfully.

Right, reading standing while holding a light could be problematic. Unless you have a light built into your hat.

Specially if those busses never show up!

That would be a fun hat. But problematic.. If I went to look up if the bus was coming, I could blind drivers, and end up hit by a car. Though I would have a book to read while waiting for the paramedics.

Oooh, good, you're learning to look on the bright side of everything! =D

Well.... obviously the light will have to turned on and off by a switch. But not in the hat because that might be hard to find. So it'd need a remote control. But you might still forget, so maybe it should go off automaticly if you tilt your head up... Ah, just use red LEDS, can't blind anyone with that =P

It's like the song in Monty Pythons Life of Brian says...Always look on the bright side of life!

but can you read by them? Or I could just bring a portable bonfire. Will stay warm AND be able to read. Could roast marshmallows too

Yepyep!

You sure can! And yes, you coul do that, but it might be a fire hazard. Specially if you branches hanging over the path.

Ah damn! Fire hazards! I always forget about those when trying to plan a fire. When I make them, there are none (except to myself). Ugh. I think it'd be more of a problem that it would block the path.. I guess the hat with the red LED light is it. Know where I can get one?

Wait, so you set yourself on fire?

I don't think they're for sale... maybe I could make one myself...

They don't sell something so handy? You should make one, file a patent, and make lots of money.
